I’m Aryan Jasala, a Senior Software Engineer at rtCamp, working remotely from Delhi. Most of my work is enterprise WordPress, and most of that is the part where a number has to move.
Day to day I lead project teams on client builds: the architecture, the review gate, the estimate before anything is signed, and the postmortem when something breaks anyway. The code mostly lives in private client repos. This site gets the part I can write about.
What I work on
Mostly moving things onto WordPress, then keeping them fast once they are there. I moved a legacy application onto WordPress VIP, from the data model and billing through to the weeks after launch. I was front-end lead on a reusable theme foundation, and co-built rtCamp’s open-source starter stack, theme-elementary and plugin-elementary. This site runs on it.
Other projects: a WPML conversion across a whole platform, an LMS go-live with tooling to recover lost course progress, Core Web Vitals work on high-traffic sites, and a PHPStan CI pipeline. The less visible half is sprint planning, technical discovery, code review, and onboarding new developers.

What is on this site
Two kinds of writing. The WordPress guides are the reference kind: plugin fundamentals, custom blocks, rewrite rules, tests, internationalisation and how VIP Go is laid out. The homelab build and the incidents are the other kind, where something broke and the post is the postmortem.
